I was in Joshua Tree National Park one morning right after sunrise, and BEFORE moonset. It turns out that Theodore Geisel (Seuss) actually did get some of his inspiration from the this very same area. To me, this particular shot fits the overall mood and tone of the Dr. Seuss images and stories that we`re all familar with.
